Due to change of plans, we have for sale our BMW 1 Series (E87) with S54B32 engine (385BHP), build in 2010, which has only covered some test miles and 3 races.
Body
The car is built on a bare shell, with welded seams and full comprehensive rollcage from front shocks to rear schocks with optimized driver seat position. The fuel tank is a Contintantal bag tank of 100ltr which is completely build underneath the rear seat bank. The car is equipped with four Krontec airjack lifts.All body panels (doors, hood, bootlid ...) are from glassfibre. The car is equipped with a widebodykit. All windows are OEM coloured lexan windows from Plastics4Performance. WTCC rear wing. Xenon headlights.
Engine
The engine is a S54B32 engine de-VANOSed with Schrick cams, ARP-bolts, oil cooler, CSL carbon fibre airbox with BMC filter inside, Denso iridium spark plugs, etc... developing 385 bhp and 380Nm torque (20h from rebuilt). Castrol 10W60 oil change after every race. Exhaust system is tailormade, using Spintech mufflers. Stand alone ECU from NIRA. AIM MXL Pista linked to ECU and additional sensors for e.g. diff temperature, gearbox temperature, oil pressure, fuel pressure, wideband lamba, etc...
Drivetrain
Regarding the drivetrain: a ligthweigth flywheel is fitted with a Helix triple clutch system (only 7h from new) and Tilton hydraulic release bearing. The car is fitted with a new M3 E46 6-speed manual gearbox (only 7h from new). Driveshaft is adapted from the E46. The rear differential is M3E46 from Drexler with 4,45 ratio and a Drexler LSD 55/45. Oil coolers mounted on gearbox and differential. Driveshafts are GKN made for the BMW 120d Motorsport.
Chassis and suspension
The chassis is a WTCC-style adapted E92 M3 front subframe with WTCC links, all on uniballs, the rear is a E87/E90 subframe WTCC-style reinforced with all arms custom made on uniballs. Front anti-roll bar is adapted from the M3 GT4, rear bar is WTCC-style. Suspension is KW Competition 3-way. 50/50 weigth balance. We were running the car on 9Jx17 BBS wheels with 24/61-17 tyres.
Brakes
Brakes are AP 6-piston caliper for front axle (CP4340) and 4-piston calipers for the rear axle (CP6720) with brake discs (CP3581 front = 356mm and CP4348 rear = 304mm) with Pagid Yellow brake pads. Tilton pedalbox with brake balance bar and brake bias adjuster
Interior
Interior with Cobra seat, Sabelt belts, detachable steering wheel, electric alloy fire extinguisher, ...
Makes a nice car for any Britcar, VLN, Dutch Supercar Challenge or other championship. Drive a different BMW !
