Description
This is the for sale thread of my 106 which i have been building for the last 3 1/2 years. due to being able to purchase my first property ive very reluctantly had to put this vehicle for sale to aid this.the car has been fully re-build from when i purchased it, completely standard from a dealership in london. When i got the vehicle home it was fully stripped down and re-painted inside/outside and engine bay area in original peugoet black. the car is far from standard as every part has been uprated, it has just been returned to me from having a full wrl motorsport dr race harness fittedthroughoutthe car includinga new 2d dash display system and had a carbon roof and bonnet developed by streamline carbon fitted. since purchasing this shell in september 2009 (had my previous shell until then) the car has done around 200 miles including the drive back from northampton to pick it up after having the final stage work done. the car has allwyas been garaged and never has been left outside in all its time ive had it.this car, in the right hands would be a very capable vehicle whether you were to using it for racing in the tin top series or just are an avid trackday goer like myself. it is more than capable of showing up much larger machinery alover the country. car specification goes as bar fuel pressure regulatorearls 80 micron inline fuel filter located in engine bay.all the fuel system is running through the car using earls teflon lined fuel hose eliminating fuel vapour release in the cabin, running to the fuel setup on the rear bench. brakeshi spec 4 pot calipers (black)bells with floating 285mm discsfront lines run to a t peice on the bulkhead and to each caliper, completely eliminating abs for better peadl feel. wheels & tyresteasm dynamic pro race 1's (the rare ones not the 1.2's) in satin blackfront tyres are yokohama A048's in meduim compound and have seen one track session.rear tyres are toyo R888's in medium compound and have seen 2 track sessions. now im sure i would of missed a few things of from the list but its hard to remember it all. as you can see the car has been prepared with no expence spared regardless of cost. i never intended to sell the car as i was going to use it in some sort of race series but buying a property will stop that for a while, so rather than see it being wasted sitting in my garage i would rather sell it to someone who would use it for what it was built for. the car is fully road legal and has mot and tax until september. im willing to meet any intentional buyers with the car if they are serious as i live in north devon and i know its not the easiest of places to travel to. on the 17th of july the car will be going down to AST for a full geomerty setup and tracking, everything. the car is running about 180bhp but would benefit from a mapping sessions as the setup has been altered since that mapping with a new inlet and trumpets so should produce more than the first figure. the car will be sold with a cd with photographs showing the build process from start to finish to see the transformation, i can not express how many hours have gone into this car let alone how many thousands of pounds have been spent on it. link to my build thread on the shed motorsport
