1971 Austin Healey Sprite. Fully refurbished and ready to race! Full race 1275cc engine. repainted and comes complete with refurbished trailer. All welding done with new lower rear quarters, front hangers, lower bulkheads and lots more. floors strengthened and 6-point roll cage. The lightweight railer has new brakes (hydraulic), jockey wheel, coupling, ramps and winch and has been sand-blasted and painted.
Currently built to FISC regs, but easy conversion for Historic series (FIA) or other series in the UK or Europe. Have full UK registration document with original STP great number . I CAN DELIVER THE CAR AND TRAILER ANYWHERE IN EUROPE AT COST!!!!!!!!!MAKE ME AN OFFER/CASH/EXCHANGE ETC.
Very competitive. New harness (legal until 2012). Battery box with new battery, foam filled tank, Facet pump, lots of new bits and totally ready to race with full set of GP numbers. Rear shocks converted to Spax adjustables, but can be changed back to originals. Goodrich tyres with 90% tread left. New battery, new waterpump and spare top end gasket set. Would only take a few hours to get it pristine, but it is very, very tidy as it is.
Full CD available of pictures covering recent work and refurbishment, including original photo's prior to rebuild. I can send some photgraphs by email if any potential buyer wishes. This is not a normal mediocre racing Spridget, but a fully worked and competitive car with lots of series eligibility and potential.
WOULD CONSIDER SWAP OR P/X for left hand drive diesel automatic car or estate (my left knee is not good!!!!!)? I am now back from vacation so can take calls. I will consider any reasonable offer, or part-exchange/swap as my physical condition will not allow me to race.
