Description
1971 Huron 4A, chassis number GVA 003S Fresh 0km 2.0 litre Ford BDG by Ridgeway, dynoed at 290bhp @ 8700rpm Hewland FT200 5 speed gearbox rebuild by JP One of three chassis built for 1971 Le Mans with Camel sponsorship, raced throughout 1971 in BOAC Endurance Championship. This car was entered in BOAC 1000km at Brands to be driven by Roger Enever and Clive Baker. Raced in Thundersports in 1980's by John Piper and Ian Harrower. Raced in early 1990's by Ian Harrower, Tony Trevor and Richard Piper in British 2 Litre Group 6 and Supersports Cup. Badly damaged in accident in 1998 with heavy front chassis damage, hence Vin Malkie Racing rebuilt car into new tub in 2000.
