R53 Mini Cooper S
The Cooper S in R53 is an iconic motor and this one has all the right parts for someone to enter the world of Sprinting. The engine has been "breathed on " using a Fast Newman Road Camshaft that allows the car to tickover at low revs but makes it torquey off the line. a new larger Airtech Intercooler and a 17% supercharger pulley gives additional power. 4 pot Brakes, vented crossdrilled and grooved discs, braided hoses and race pads. Suspension is full adjustable on Monopro racing shock and coilovers. Car is set up with negative camber front and rear along with R56 Aluminium rear arms set up by Track Toy Racing in Cannock. Turret Strut brace and Cabriolet brace bars give added support. The rear shocks have built in plates on the arches to allow you to get at the adjusters easily.
Inside the car has 2 Sparco race seats fitted with TRS race harnesses and shoulder supports with road legal clips. The harnesses are attached to the rear roll cage made by MMF. The roll cage has supports welded to the floor for strength and the cage is bolted in.
Wheels are 17" fitted with brand new Rainsport 5 tyres 205x45x17. Finished in a great colour of electric blue which is as near perfect as possible. Not sure whether the body kit is an Aero original but it really suits the car.
