This particular tribute vehicle started off life as a 1979 series Speciale 1300cc. The engine has been fitted with twin double 40 down draughts, 35/75 billet cam, aluminium race radiator, rare FAZA Periscop and a Di Fulvio full stainless racing exhaust resulting in around 120-130bhp which is fed to the rear wheels via the 4-speed transmission and a very rare Dallara spec LSD. The interior is stripped and minimal with Sabelt racer duos bucket seats, Sabelt 6 point belts, quick release steering, Rallysafe GPS and is is homologated to NZ/AUS Motorsports standards along with a MSA log book. This X1/9 is currently set up for gravel events and has full adjustable suspension.
