Richard Longman & Co. Ltd built 'works' engine. Comes complete in every way with every single ancillary & sundry. Unlike many other engines for sale, this is going to stay in the car for any prospective buyer to effectively 'try before they buy'.
The engine has been up and running in my car since last November (2006), prior to being fully dyno'd and mapped by Richard himself. Dyno power graphs to prove, paperwork etc.
The spec is long but in brief (for further details please email or telephone)

This engine is the real deal, 207.7bhp @ 8300rpm & 142lb ft torque @ 6500rpm. Rev limit set to 8600rpm. ECU has flat gearchange & launch control facility activated. The engine comes as a complete package with EVERYTHING needed to run exactly as it does now, but in your car ! Every sensor, sundry, loom and spark plug and injector, its all here and waiting.
And yes, the engine has been raced and rallied ! It serves no other purpose ! lol. The engine has ran reliably and faultlessly these last months and is a credit to Richard Longman.
Please see link below to some videos on you tube on road and on track of the engine in motion !
So if the engine is so great why am I selling it after only 3,000 miles ?
well an 8 year obsession with my car has seen it go through many stages, the last and final one is about to happen, so this engine has to go to make way for the next Longman lump, a 307 touring car engine.
For any further information please email or call anytime and for serious buyers, an appointment can be made to view the engine in running order.
