A 1966 PONTIAC GTO 389 TRI-POWER ENGINE AND TURBO 400 TRASNSMISSION, THIS ENGINE & TRANSMISSION COMBO HAVE ABOUT 100 MILES ON THEM IT IS NOT EVEN BROKEN IN YET. THIS ENGINE WAS PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT, BALANCED AND BLUE-PRINTED BY CAR PARTS MACHINE SHOP IN EL PASO TEXAS ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO I INSTALLED IT AND A REBUILT TURBO 400 ENGINE IN MY CAR AND INSTALLED A TRI-POWER SET UP THAT WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT BY ROD'S CARB SHOP, THE TRI-POWER IS FROM A 1965 PONTIAC GTO. I THEN DROVE THE CAR FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND THEN I STARTED TO INSTALL A FACTORY A/C SYSTEM AND NEVER PUT THE A/C SYSTEM IN AND THEN I GOT SIDE TRACKED AND NEVER FINISHED INSTALLING THE INTERIOR. I HAVE NOW DECIDED TO INSTALL A 2006 GTO LS2, SIX SPEED COMBO IN IT INSTEAD SO I AM SELLING THIS COMBO TO HELP FINANCE THE LS2 COMBO. THIS MOTOR HAS SPEED-PRO PISTONS AT .030 OVER, EDELBROCK CAM AND, THE CRANK WAS CUT TO 10/10 UNDER AND THE STOCK RODS WERE RESIZED, THE HEADS ARE COMPLETE WITH NEW MANLEY VALVES AND VALVE SPRINGS LIGHT WEIGHT RETAINERS AND KEEPERS, BLOCK 9778789 F166
