Ultimate spec Group A engine by Phil Marks.
Zero miles.Ralliart head, ex-Makkinen block (allegedly), all steel engine - the complete works. This is the top spec ultimate Phil Marks Group A specification.
The engine made 350bhp and 420ft/lbs running just 1.5bar of boost with the flattest power curve I've seen in my life, over 300bhp for 3000rpm - it's not a curve, it's a wall.
This is my spare engine, the car now relocated to other side of the world so this engine is no longer required. The identical sister engine of this one (two built side-by-side) just won Group A in Rally Barbados' King of the Hill event, beating the modern machinery including an ex-works Subaru 555 Group A car. It has won Group A outright the last two events on the island.
If rallying an Evo 1/2/3, you cannot get a bigger, better engine than this. Engine is full works, even down to machining out the seams on the block. All steel, balance shaft removed, balanced, Ralliart head, uprated valve train, Phil's own cams. etc. etc. Engine comes with induction, runs a jacked throttle. Bolt on your exhaust and turbo and good to go.
Map shown in photo is for *pump* fuel, can supply both maps for pump fuel and VP109 for GEMs. Mapping alone cost PS1,200.
For sale, zero miles, PS3,250. Engine located in Halifax.
